Brewing Instructions
-
Scoop 1/2 tsp matcha into a bowl or cup.
-
Heat water to about 180°F (80°C) — not boiling. Boiling water scorches matcha and turns it bitter.
-
Pour in ~6 oz hot water and whisk briskly in a "W" or zigzag motion for 15–30 seconds until frothy.
-
Add more hot water for a traditional bowl, or top with steamed/iced milk for a latte.

FAQs
How much caffeine is in matcha?
A serving has roughly half the caffeine of a cup of coffee, but the L-theanine in green tea delivers it as smooth, calm energy — no spike or crash.
Why shouldn't I use boiling water?
Water that's too hot scorches the delicate leaf powder and brings out bitterness. Keep it around 180°F for a sweet, smooth cup.
Is it sweetened or flavored?
No — this is pure, single-origin matcha. It's naturally grassy and smooth with no added sugar or flavoring.
Can I make a latte with it?
Absolutely. Whisk your matcha with a little hot water first, then pour over hot or iced milk of choice.
How should I store it?
Keep it sealed in a cool, dark place away from light and moisture, and use it within a few weeks of opening to preserve the vibrant color and flavor.
