Grown on a plantation in Anxi, Quanzhou, Fujian Province. This Iron Goddess Oolong tea has a light buttery undertone with floral notes, and the deep green color will make a tea drinker feel comfortable and serene during any time of the year.
This oolong tea has a unique, floral and slightly sweet, buttery flavor and is one of the most popular teas in China. Sometimes this oolong can be mistaken for green tea due to its lightly fermented rolled leaves and the delicate green color of the tea after it's brewed. Iron Goddess Oolong is a beneficial tea to drink when your energy is sluggish, and makes an amazing pick me up in the mornings or afternoons. Filled with antioxidants, polyphenols and the magic of the Iron Goddess, this tea is a tea drinkers favorite for a reason.
BREWING TIPS:
Place 2 heaping teaspoons in a tea vessel, and brew with 10 to 11 ounces of boiling water. Steep with a lid on to keep the heat in and extract more flavor. Steep approximately 2 minutes. Re-steep your second cup for 3 to 5 minutes.
