Our hand blended Spiced Apple Chai is blended perfectly with apple, chai spices, toffee and a touch of maple sweetness. Reminiscent of apple pie, the cinnamon and a touch of sweetness are the forward notes with the delicate apple coming in at the finish. A unique Chai blend not to be missed!

HOW TO BREW:
Give a quick 5 second rinse of your tea bag with boiling water and then dump out the water. Make approximately 9 to 10 ounce cups with the tea bag and steep your first steeping for approximately 2 minutes. Take out the bag and SQUEEZE it before using it to make another cup. Steep your second cup for 3 to 4 minutes.

PRO TIPS:
Cover your tea while it steeps to keep the heat in and to extract more flavor.

Move your tea bag side to side and up and down several times before removing and squeezing it, to get all the trapped water and flavor out of it!

BREWING TIPS

1. BOIL your water to approximately 205 - 212 degrees (large bubbles).
2. For best results (optional) POUR the hot water over your tea bag to wet it first, then dump out the water.
3. POUR approximately 9 - 10 oz. of water over your tea bag.
4. Steep 1.5 -2 min (over steeping can make it bitter) and REMOVE tea bag.
5. Reuse the tea bag AGAIN, steep 3-4 min for a second cup, enjoy!

Is there apple in the tea?

Yes, we dice up delicious apples in each tea bag!

How many times can I steep each bag?

Each of our tea bags can be steeped at least twice.

How long do you steep the tea bags for?

For most of our tea bags, we recommend steeping for 1.5 to 2 minutes for the first steeping and 3 - 4 minutes for the second steeping. Each product pouch has the steeping directions on it for reference, but you can also vary the steeping time depending on your preference.

Are the tea bags compostable?

Yes, our tea bags are made of wood pulp fiber and are 100% compostable after about 90 days in your home compost or compost service.
